I bought this comforter several years ago, for a guest room, but in early September this year I put it on my own bed because my down comforter seemed to be aggravating my asthma. What a wonderful change! It did seem to make a difference to the asthma, plus the comforter makes a fairly luxurious impression – thick and warm and slightly oversize. And it is indeed multi-season (though we’re in a below-freezing cold snap right now in a house heated only by a wood stove, so I do put a wool blanket on top of the comforter because I like to be quite warm). The ties keep it well in place, the filling doesn’t shift – I like it very much. I never wrote a review back when I bought the comforter, because I hadn’t actually slept under it – now I suppose I’ll buy another for guests. It’s really quite nice.
