This December the final episode of the Skywalker saga hits the theaters, and we could not be more excited!
Many of us at Bokser Home are life long Star Wars™ fans and we want to do something special to celebrate the release of Star Wars, The Rise of Skywalker.
We wanted to create something special for other life-long (and newly introduced) Star Wars™ fans, something collectible, something that is as much art as it is a quilt. A perfect gift for any super-fan of a galaxy far, far away....
This quilt incorporates two iconic symbols from the franchise, along with a sharp color differentiation to reflect the struggle between the Rebel Alliance and the Empire, between the dark side and the light.
What are the symbols?
The Alliance Starbird
The Rebel Alliance stood against the Galactic empire. Their symbol, a starbird, is most often spotted on pilots' helmets and uniforms and continues to be utilized as the symbol for the Resistance. The design may have roots in the phoenix graffiti Sabine Wren leaves behind in Star Wars Rebels.
The Imperial Crest
When Sheev Palpatine formed the Galactic Empire, he adopted a different version of the Galactic Republic's crest. The new cog with six spokes was used throughout, visible on uniforms, flags, and even propaganda posters. The symbol is associated with the might of the Empire, and its presence on a world signifies Imperial control.
Sold exclusively by Bokser Home.
